Firstly, about me: I’m Niklas, 23 years old, and I live in the German capital metropolis, Berlin. As a prospective application developer, I passionately engage with topics from the field of computer science.
The Genesis of this Blog
Before launching this blog, I often recorded my thoughts on interesting topics via voice memos and sent them to friends. It helped me organize my thoughts and educate my friends. However, over time, it got out of control as the memos became too numerous and lengthy. Thus, the blog serves as a collection of topics that interest and engage me, helping to structure my thoughts. This includes, for example, new tools or libraries in programming that occupy me, as well as selection and changes in investment strategies.
Why This Blog is Public
Why do I share my posts publicly? Of course, I could simply keep them in a diary for myself. But since these topics interest me and I’m already writing them down, I might as well go the extra mile and make my blog posts publicly accessible. This way, not only do I benefit from organizing my thoughts, but perhaps you can also gain some knowledge or at least entertainment from them.
A finance blog by a 22-year-old? What do you know about finances? That’s a valid question, and to be completely honest: just consider this blog as if I really have no clue. Rather, use it for what it is: a collection of thoughts being broadcasted onto the internet. Perhaps it will inspire some to think about their financial future, as many young people don’t want to deal with their finances. And that applies not only to my finance blog but also to the other topics I cover. Maybe it will encourage some to take control, learn programming, and publish impressive projects themselves.
